Craziness
March was certainly a hectic month. I ended up at Tokyo at least six times! And Kyoto twice!!! So much money was spent. So I'm looking forward to a slower pace this April. Although my trip to Korea on the 27th will still insure that it won't be a cheap one. Oh well.
I'm so exhausted. My students are on spring break and rather than us getting these days off as well, we still have to be at school. I consider this such an injustice. I think it's absolutely ludicrous as well, as we literally don't have anything to do, but because of some rule we must be at the school. A bunch of baloney if you ask me. Sorry I'm so bitter about this...
Oh, new pictures are up.

Shirley, Great pics! I love your writing. Can I make one loving suggestion? In a lot of your captions and blog posts, you write something like "Edward and I". This is incorrect grammer. It should be "Me and Edward". "...and I" is only used when you are the subject of the sentence. You're such a good writer that I thought this grammatical suggestion (since you use it very often) would be helpful. All the best!
Hello! Whoever you are :). Next time leave your name so that i know who I'm replying to!
Btw, you would have to be one of my friends to be nitpicky about a grammar point. Haha! I love it.
Okay since it's apparent I'm repeatedly committing this crime I decided to research it a bit so that I could understand what I was doing wrong. Because for some reason I only remember English teachers back in the day drilling into us, "It's my friend and I, not Me and my friend or my friend and me." But who knows what he or she said before or after that sentence? Thus, I had to look up why and when one uses one structure over the other.
So here's one sentence that sums up what I found...
"I am the subject of the sentence, but the object of the sentence is me."
And when in doubt take the my friend out of the sentence and see if it makes sense.
Thanks so much for pointing that out to me! I'll try to be aware of it in my writings and avoid the mistake. :)
